OUR APPROACH
We travel the world to work in communities that can benefit from vocational training and capacity building initiatives. Our mission isn’t just to educate youth but to help them find a pathway forward to become self-reliant in their chosen field. In addition, we employ local community members with expertise to teach the identified skills.
We select communities based on an assessment of need. We consider the impact we can have on the community and the relationship we can build with local stakeholders. We want to ensure that the communities we serve will be willing to contribute and take partial ownership of the program so that it can continue to impact lives for years to come. In order for our program to serve the targeted populations effectively and sustainably, we need the participation of local leaders and members of the community. This is why we approach the community to assess needs, identify a working structure, and provide an open dialogue to discuss solutions.
