Rebuilding Lives on the Syrian-Jordan Border

March 23, 2018

Rebuild for Peace has established two vocational training centers in the North of Jordan, on the border of Syria. The students, all of whom are women and many of whom are Syrian refugees, are fighting to make a life for themselves with very minimal resources. The Jordanian Government has hugely supported our work and has requested our efforts to be targeted toward assisting this vulnerable group of people near the border. Forty students will attend and complete our three-month vocational training as well as the peace-building training, which will provide a path to a more sustainable livelihood as well as the tools to better cope with their challenges.
